Jun Mitsumoto

Associate Professor in Archaeology and Museum Studies

Jun Mitsumoto received his D.Litt. in 2004 from Okayama University.

His research Interests include archaeology of the Yayoi and Kofun periods, and archaeology of gender and sexuality.

He has actively conducted field surveys and excavations of the Kofun Period mounded tombs in Kibi area, using 3D measurement.

In BE-ARCHAEO he will support 3D measurement of Kofun berial mounds, and provide specialized knowledge about archaeological materials of Yayoi and Kofun period Japan.
